It has filled the ovens,
and then the trenches that buried the truth.
It has sharpened the machetes,
and glazed the eyes from the horror.
It helped tie the young man to the fence
and provoked fist to kill.
It marginalizes any debate.
It demeans any attribute.
It denies all accomplishments.
Dismisses Humanity.
The most dangerous word in the English language and its derivatives?
THEY.
THEM.
THOSE.
Be careful how you wield these words because WE have to live together.
